The Maintenance Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Greenburgh Housing Authority sites.
The team responds to routine work orders each day consisting of various electrical, plumbing, masonry and carpentry concerns.
On-call staff on site handle after hour emergencies consisting of an unhealthy or undrinkable water supply, gas leaks, broken or blocked sanitary line, failed heating system, hazardous electrical systems, exposure to toxic materials (lead based paints, asbestos) and broken windows. FOR FIRE RELATED EMERGENCIES, PLEASE CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY.
The dedicated maintenance staff also perform snow removal and grounds maintenance.
